Love Life!

Love Life, founded by Taiwanese host Blackie Chen and Taiwanese singer Fan Wei Qi，
A project done by my seniors from CMC Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
My seniors really brought a really meaningful concept over to Singapore.
It really is a meaningful project, showcasing 3 case studies.
I was with them while they were filming the 2nd case study, and I can really see how much they enjoy doing this project.
I am waiting for the documentary to be released.
Meanwhile, this is the trailer for the 2nd case study. (p.s. I could not attach the 1st and 3rd one)
Also attached is the Love Life Taiwan documentary.

My comments:
Because I really do have hair that is difficult to tame, this really comes in handy. It doesn't smell strong, so it would be perfect for people who hates chemical smells.
Having said that, I don't like the fact that this hair serum makes my hair appear oily. I mean I want the hair to be tamed, not oily.
So overall I would rate this a 3.5/5.

这是我新买的护发霜。
为我头发比较难照顾，所以我觉得它还挺有用的。它不象一般的护发霜有着强烈的化学物的味道，所以闻起来不会觉得臭。
但是我不喜欢它，因为虽然可以帮助我把头发稍微“制服”，但是它却让头发显得油油的。
所以总的来说，我会给它打3.5/5分。

Aspirations 梦想

“人因梦想而伟大”

“人因妄想闹笑话”

These are 2 lines I came across from a local web drama.

The first line, most would be familiar with.

The second, when I first heard it, I thought it was funny.

However, after thinking about it, it seemed logical as well.

It is very easy to mix up with logical and illogical aspirations.

How can one properly differentiate them? Only one knows best.

People often say one must live with aspirations, only then will you have a goal to work towards to.

However, are these aspirations out of reach?

Children aspire to be many people when they grow up, 

However when they really do grow up, most will say they have no ambition.

Why is that so?

第一句相信大家并不感陌生。
第二句话，第一次听到。一开始觉得很好笑，后来觉得好像有点道理。
梦想和妄想好像只在一线之间。
怎么样的区分，怎么样的适可而止，只有自己最清楚。
虽说人都要有梦想，才会有目标，但是有时候，你的梦想遥不可及。
小朋友们小时候不都有着很多很伟大的梦想吗？
为什么长大之后就说没目标、没梦想呢？
是发现自己小时候的梦想其实都是妄想吗？

Friends 朋友

Do you have many friends?

What cause people to change?
After a few personality tests done since school reopen, my results changed a lot compared to last time.
After the tests, I ponder over the reason behind my change...
People around me, the environment etc etc... I guess it is hard not to change.
Are people shaped by the environment?
Because of the people around them and the environment, it would be hard to remain the same.he
If it is for the better, why not.
But if it means losing yourself, why do?
Are you still the old you? Can you go back to the old you?
Deep down inside, I believe only you can answer your own questions.
It is just a matter of whether you want to.

什么使人改变？
开学至今做了好几次的心理测验，成绩出炉后，发现我的性格和以前已经完全不一样了。
之后，一直反复思考其原因。。。
是因为身边的人吗？或是环境造成的？我想大概很难不变吧。
人是不是会随着环境而改变？
如果是变好，那何不？
但如果改变会让你迷失自己，那为何？
你是不是也变了呢？改变了还回得去吗？
我想这个答案只有你自己最清楚。

I was listening to this video while writing this post..

I hate goodbyes, never like them.
They are always so sad.
But we have to go through so many goodbyes. I always cry in such situations.
I really can't bear to say goodbye...in any situation.

王力宏真是非常有才华的音乐人。
我很讨厌离别，从来没有喜欢过。
每一次的离别都很难过。
但是人生要面对很多次的离别。
天下没有不散之宴席，这个道理我懂。
但是每一次我都无法忍住自己的泪水。。。每一次都哭得稀里哗啦。
我真的舍不得，也不想舍得，不管什么状况。。。。。。

A line that I heard from a local advertisement.
Familiar melody from a children's song, meaningful lyrics.
The song always repeats in my head every time I watch the advertisement.
Meaning of the lyrics: Be nice to your parents. They need your concern. Do not wait until it is too late.
In the past, children knowing that the parents brought them up, they repay their parents with lots of love.
Presently, maybe because of the one-child policy in certain countries, parents and grandparents love their kids too much.
Maybe some may argue love is a good thing, it is never too much.
I do agree that love is a pleasant feeling, however, too much of it may cause one to lose themselves...
In the case of parents, will their children cherish their love or will they take it for granted?

这是我在电视上看到的一则广告。
看了好几次，旋律是非常耳熟能详的儿歌。歌词很有意义，歌曲一直在脑海里重复。
现在的社会，和以前不一样了。
以前，因为知道身体发肤，受之父母，所以孩子都会孝顺父母。
现在有些国家被限制只能生一个孩子。因此父母、祖父母和外祖父母，都把孩子当宝。所以是不是变成父母孝顺孩子了呢？
也许有些人会说“爱”是件好事，所以永远都不会嫌多。
但是我认为爱固然好，但是太多爱会使人迷失自己。
这么一来，孩子还会珍惜长辈给予的爱吗？还是他们会把一切当成是理所当然？

Dream or Reality 梦或现实

Sometimes I wonder whether we really exist.
Have you ever wonder whether the world you are living in really exist?
Or is this all the dream of the other you in the parallel universe?
How can we really differentiate between dream and reality?
Or is there really a difference between the both of them?
Whether or not you like your life now, still live your dreams!!


有时候我会想我真的存在吗？
你们有没有想过我们现在生活的这个世界是否真的存在？
还是这一切都只是另一个平行时空的我们的梦／幻想？
我们到底可以怎么区分梦和现实呢？
梦与现实又有何不同呢？
不管喜欢与否，还是要去追寻自己的梦！！

Fair? 公平？

As what my mother always say, nothing in the world is fair.
Some people are born into rich families, some are not.
Some people are born gifted, some are not.
Some people are born healthy, some are not.
Some people are born pretty, some are not.
What can one do to make things fair? What can one do to eradicate unfairness?
I believe many of you have heard about the outcome on the Malaysia General Election. What's your take on it?
While some may claim that they are being open and fair, others are saying otherwise. Either way, there is no way to change the results now.
I just hope people live with their conscious clear.

就像妈妈一直说的，这个世界本来就不公平。
有些人是含着金汤匙出生的，有些人却不是。

人到底要怎么做，才能算公平？

Who am I? 我是谁？

I have an assignment which requires me to use 3 adjectives to describe yourself.

If its you, how would you describe yourself.

Previously when we were required to write 3 positive adjectives about our classmates, I received words like 'shy', 'soft-spoken' etc. 

Well, I think those are not positive words are they?

Even classmates cannot come up with words to describe about me, how am I suppose to come up with words to describe about myself?

我有份作业，必须以三个形容词形容自己。

如果是你，你会怎么形容自己呢？

之前，当老师要求我们为班上所有同学写出三个褒义词汇，我收到了像‘害羞’、‘说话轻声细雨’ 等类似词汇。

它们算是褒义词汇吗？

就连班上的同学都没有办法为我写出褒义词汇了，那我要怎么形容自己啊？

Romantic? 浪漫？

Is there a definition for romantic in the world?
If so, can someone tell me what is romantic?
Today, I watched a local drama (yes, i still do...when you run out of shows to watch)
and the actress (acting as a radio deejay) felt that a couple, doing the bungee together is romantic. She felt that at that moment, it will feel as though the lives of the couple are tied together. Jumping with the love of her life would give her a greater sense of security.
If you ask me, well since I have never experienced romantic, its hard for me to comment.
What's your take on romantic?

浪漫是什么？世界上又有谁能说得清呢？
我相信每个人对浪漫得定义都不同。
今天我看了本地的一部电视剧，戏里的饰演广播员的女演员觉得最浪漫的事是和爱人一起跳bungee。她觉得在那个“生死关头”，会感受到前所未有的安全感。
我吗。。。不知道浪漫是什么。并不是说我不懂浪漫哦，而是因为没有感受过，所以不知道。
