Unlike other Disney movies, this one is about sisters love!
The voices behind the characters, they are sooooooo good!
Especially like the song "Let it Go"
Both versions of the song are nice!
Demi Lovato's voice is so powerful, and it always breaks my heart.
Idina Menzel, who it the voice for Elsa the Snow Queen, her voice is also powerful and clear.
Kinda reminds me of Jessica from SNSD.
The same type of crystal clear voice!
The animation was great as well!
Now I wish Disney re-made all their fairy tales with the new animation technology!
OMG OMG OMG!!!
Thor is back!
To be honest, I don't know about the character Thor until The Avengers.
And in The Avengers, Thor is not my favourite character~
But after watching the Avengers, it has so totally ruined my list of superheroes list.
Well~~I am soooo definitely going to watch Thor: The Dark World.
But I really sincerely apologize, because I am there to support Loki!
Who can withstand such a cute villian!
I mean literally~
Look at his smile~~(mesmerized~~)
And have you heard him laugh?
Isn't he cute!!!! Omg~
I saw this from his interview with Girls Generation's Tiffany, and he is sooooooo nice!!
Here is the interview~
Thor is nice, in the movie and of course in real life!
I bet every girl will like to meet such a nice guy.
But I just cannot ignore the charms of Tom Hiddleston.
Although he is a villian, but don't you find it hard to hate him?
I mean how can you!?
Look at him!!
If I had Thor’s Mjölner for a day, I will definitely help Loki rule the world!! That way I will get to see Tom Hiddleston!! OMG!!
Okay~~sorry for my fan-girling..
Back to the movie...
If you are a fan of The Avengers, then you definitely DO NOT want to miss this.
Knowing the stories of each individual character is sooooo important.
It leads to the development of The Avengers.
If not just watch it to support Tom Hiddleston

Went to Plaza Singapura to watch Ilo Ilo
昨天到了Plaza Singapura 看了《爸妈，不在家》这一部电影。
I am usually not attracted to such 'artsy' kind of movie genre,
but I still decided to watch it in the end.
Reasons being:
1) Ilo Ilo won a 15 minute standing ovation during its gala premiere,
it was also awarded the Camera d'Or at the Cannes.
2) The director of this film, Anthony Chen, was from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
3) Being a Singaporean myself, it would be a shame to not support a local production. Let alone one that was awarded in Cannes.
After the movie, I still feel that such 'artsy' films are not my type.
I prefer those mainstream Hollywood productions,
but nonetheless, this film is definitely one of the better Singapore productions.
The storyline was simple and very close to the hearts of many Singaporeans, or even everyone.
Many of us have both parents working.
Thus, our parents will hire a maid to help look after us, and help with the chores.
I used to have a maid at home too,
so it was easy for me to relate to the movie.
The movie was inspired by the Director's true story,
which was quite similar to that of many, I believe, including myself.
I was pretty sad myself when the maid went home.
Until many years ago, I received a call from the maid.
But sadly, we lost contact ever since.
Sometimes, the most simple things touch our hearts the most.
Ilo Ilo is just like that.
(p.s. I still don't like artsy films, but Ilo Ilo is worth the watch)
I caught the movie The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones today.
今天到电影院观看了这一部电影。
To be honest, I heard more bad comments than good ones about this movie.
Personally, I don't think it is that bad~~
Firstly, the main casts are beautiful (: (eye candies for both guys and girls)
老实说，在看到这一部电影前，
我听到的坏评语比好评多好多好多。
但是我本身在看了电影后，觉得它其实没有那么糟糕。
其一，男女主角都长得好养眼 （：
Secondly, it is more of a magical adventure type of movie (my type)
Thirdly, it is like Twilight, Harry Potter in one movie (vampires and werewolf and spells)
其二，这一部电影是属于魔幻动作片，（我喜欢的电影类型）
其三，它好像Twilight 和 Harry Potter 的综合体（在角色、故事设计方面）
What I don't like about the movie is the ending.
Well, I am a fan of happily-ever-afters.
This movie did not give me that kind of feeling.
唯独让我觉得美中不足的是这部电影的结局。
我是美好结局爱好者／支持者。
这部电影却没有它。
Now I have another series of books on my list to read (urgh!!)
现在又有一系列的书等着我去读了！
I am soooooo totally in love with this!!!
Watched Despicable Me 2 with my lovely cousins yesterday!
I was soooooo looking forward to it!
My cousin even did her nails to match the night!
Minion nails!! Adorable aren't they?
Finally went into the theatre at around 7.10.
Thoughts on the movie:
I think the selling point of Despicable Me 2 isn't the storyline, but the cute characters!
To be honest, the story was a little predictable.
However, if you love Despicable Me because of the lovely and cute characters,
then you would not want to miss Despicable Me 2.
Signing off with one of my favorite scene by the minions!
If you like Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lone Ranger would be a perfect choice!
I can't wait to see one of the sexiest man on Earth, Johnny Depp in his latest movie The Lone Ranger!!
From Pirates of the Caribbean, to Alice in Wonderland, to The Lone Ranger!
Isn't Johnny Depp simply versatile?
He can simply make any role come alive!
One word to describe him: PROFESSIONAL!
I got a shock when I saw the movie poster!
I could not recognize him at all!
Talk about being glam and pretty and all...BLAH!
They are all crap!
Look at Johnny Depp, still looking sexy and hot in The Lone Ranger movie poster!
It has been awhile since I caught an action-packed movie in a cinema!
I definitely will want to watch this!
The Lone Ranger:
From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films' "The Lone Ranger," a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice-taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption. Native American warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) and man of the law John Reid (Armie Hammer) are opposites brought together by fate and must join forces to battle greed and corruption.
Screen Story by Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio and Justin Haythe, Screenplay by Justin Haythe and Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio.
I foresee another round of Superhero craze coming up!!!
Recently, I just caught Superman Returns on Channel 5.
To be honest, I find the story progressing too slowly.
Though the male lead is really good looking :p
Superman is coming back!
With a new male lead this time.
Superman Returns was my first Superman movie, and I was disappointed.
This time round, I really do not know whether to anticipate or not to.
Man of Steel storyline:
Buzz around the latest superhero movie, "Man of Steel" is reaching fever-pitch.
In another sneak peek trailer at the movie slated for release in June 2013, more is revealed around Clarke Kent's mysterious past and his mind-boggling abilities as he becomes Superman.
The first trailer earlier this year showed a bearded Kent working on a fishing boat in a dark, dreary town.
Picking up from where the first one left off, the newly released extended trailer opens with a scene showing how a young child comes to be adopted by a pair of Kansas farmers, and the kind of relationship they shared.
But in the first ominous sign of his power, Superman (played by British thespian Henry Cavill) is shown leaping into the skies (and space!), impervious to the elements. Fanboys will take note of scenes where Superman is arrested and escorted by police as well as possible teasers of his arch-nemesis.
Directed by Zack Snyder of '300' and "Watchmen' fame, Man of Steel also boasts a stellar cast that includes Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe and Amy Adams, who plays love interest Lois Lane.
"Batman" trilogy director Christopher Nolan and award-winning music director Hans Zimmer also lend some serious heavyweight star quality to the backroom team.
"Man of Steel" will be out in cinemas on June 13, 2012.
They accompany me from my Primary School life, till now I am also almost going into a university!
Cannot believe we are going to university together.
We kind of like grew up together, so watching this movie may be like watching myself grow up.
Isn't it cool? How many people get to see themselves grow?
A brief introduction of then story.
Mike and Sulley are back! This time you’ll meet even more friends of all shapes, colours and sizes from the monster world as we go back in time to their college days. In fact, we go back all the way to where it all began. If you ever wondered how Mike and Sulley first met, don’t miss Disney•Pixar’s “MONSTERS UNIVERSITY”!
Look forward to the thrills and diversity of university life in this movie, from prestigious academic programs offered by various faculties such as the School of Scaring, to the myriad of sports, clubs and societies.
Mike Wazowski’s (voice of Billy Crystal) lifelong dreams of becoming a Scarer are derailed during his first semester at Monsters University when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), and their out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program.
Sounds interesting right?
So do remember to catch Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters University” in Singapore cinemas this 20 June 2013!
