I swear if my mum sees this, she will "kill" me~~
After 3 weeks of intern, I actually see myself in the job after graduation.
I actually do not know what I want to be before internship.
I guess this gives me a rough idea of what type of job I will like.
I even thought of giving up university studies.
But I have soooooo many factors to consider.
Like my future, my salary and blah blah.
Well, living in a society like this,
You have to be practical right?
Having a degree will guarantee a better job with a better pay.
It will be beneficial in the long run.
But the problem is......
I do not know what I want to study.
Thought of going to a university overseas,
but I just cannot afford it.
The courses in the local university simply do not interest me~
I guess I need to really sit down and think seriously.
I don't have much time left you know.

Panda and the Hedgehog
Finished this drama before the start of my internship.
Panda and the Hedgehog!!
Watched it because of Super Junior's Donghae.
Compared to other korean dramas which normally are quite melodramatic,
Panda and the Hedgehog has is interesting and alittle funny.
I especially like the Grandpa role,
I was so touched by the Grandpa.
Will introduce a variety show by the Grandpa sometime later (;
You can watch Panda and the Hedgehog when you have the time!! *thumbs up*
Synopsis: Go Seung Ji is a patissier who has been an orphan since childhood and has a gruff and prickly personality that matches his nickname of "Hedgehog (Goseumdochi)." He meets the easygoing and sweet-natured Pan Da Yang, better known as "Panda," who hires him as the new patissier of Café Panda. Together, the two work to make Café Panda a success while fending off competition from the Saint-Honoré bakery franchise.

First Week of internship!!
The first week of internship officially ended for me today.
In charge of receiving phone calls for event registration.
It was kind of awkward for me, because I am a socially awkward person.
Summarize articles, and also translate email interview transcripts, and of course write articles.
Can't wait for them to be published!!!
I think I submitted enough articles to last me for a semester.
The amount of articles I submitted are equivalent to all the reports required for 1 school term.
To be honest, I was not pleased with the department I am in at first.
But after one week, I think I have got myself really friendly and nice colleagues.
I even had a turkey yesterday.
Even though it was really really heavy~~
Really looking forward to the rest of my internship life (:
(P.S. I will be posting in English only during my internship period, since I only write in Chinese during my internship period.)

Ilo Ilo
Went to Plaza Singapura to watch Ilo Ilo
昨天到了Plaza Singapura 看了《爸妈,不在家》这一部电影。
I am usually not attracted to such 'artsy' kind of movie genre,
but I still decided to watch it in the end.
Reasons being:
1) Ilo Ilo won a 15 minute standing ovation during its gala premiere,
it was also awarded the Camera d'Or at the Cannes.
2) The director of this film, Anthony Chen, was from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
3) Being a Singaporean myself, it would be a shame to not support a local production. Let alone one that was awarded in Cannes.
After the movie, I still feel that such 'artsy' films are not my type.
I prefer those mainstream Hollywood productions,
but nonetheless, this film is definitely one of the better Singapore productions.
The storyline was simple and very close to the hearts of many Singaporeans, or even everyone.
Many of us have both parents working.
Thus, our parents will hire a maid to help look after us, and help with the chores.
I used to have a maid at home too,
so it was easy for me to relate to the movie.
The movie was inspired by the Director's true story,
which was quite similar to that of many, I believe, including myself.
I was pretty sad myself when the maid went home.
Until many years ago, I received a call from the maid.
But sadly, we lost contact ever since.
Sometimes, the most simple things touch our hearts the most.
Ilo Ilo is just like that.
(p.s. I still don't like artsy films, but Ilo Ilo is worth the watch)
